Bio

Akhil Gopal is a film & TV composer based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from the Bay Area, Akhil studied jazz trumpet and film scoring at Berklee College of Music. He currently composes, orchestrates, and edits music for "Pokémon Horizons: the Series" as Senior Composer at Madcap Labs under composer Ed Goldfarb. He has composed music for a variety of other projects, including an American Public TV documentary, an animated feature-length Pokémon movie, a classic silent film, and several short films on the festival circuit. He is passionate about languages, social justice, Indian food, and bringing stories to life with music.
